Elmo Love
I'm not sure where this sudden love of Elmo came because he doesn't really watch Elmo on tv but it seems Mason has found a new best friend. In total, he has around 5 Elmos now. The one in the pictures is a Hokey Pokey Elmo but at Christmas, Grandma gave him an Elmo that he carries with him everywhere. He's never been one to have an attachment to any item but suddenly he can't sleep without this new Elmo. I think it's adorable the way he hugs him, kisses him and talks to him. It only seemed fitting to make sure a page about this new found love made it into his scrapbook.

Sketch Support Add-On Sketch
So how cute is this snowman?!?!?! I love him! He is January's add on sketch at Sketch Support. It seems intimidating to make your own embellishment but it was really so easy! Check out Sketch Support for the other designer's creations with this little guy!

Gel-a-tins Buttons & Stitches
Sometimes you sit down at your scrap table with no plan in mind other than to just create. This was one of those times. I knew I planned on working with Gel-a-tins Button Up stamp set but that was it. I flipped through a few magazines and found a layout with circles that inspired me so I started cutting circles, and more circles, and more circles and before I knew it....I looked down and the circles were in perfect placement. All I had to do was adhere them down, add my picture and title and few stamp accents and it had created itself!

Sharing Some Layouts
We've been so fortunate lately with such nice weather that three days of rain coming up is going to seem like forever. However rain means I can stay inside and scrapbook guilt free!

I finally got around to taking pics of a couple of layouts I did recently. The first one is of my niece Kylie's 4th Birthday back in January. We always call her Kylie Girl so my sister put that right on her cake when she made it.

The second layout is one about how much my son loves playing Peek-A-Boo. Even at a year and a half, he still finds it funny!

Summer Fun

This summer has been anything but an ordinary one for me. For one, I have a son! After almost 4 years of trying, our little guy Mason was born and we've been having a blast watching him grow and discover. My hubby is home for medical reasons this summer and for that reason it's felt like one giant summer vacation. It has been a scorcher this year though so many of our summer memories are indoor ones, although we have managed to get outside a bit more lately with things cooling down.
I created this collage of summer memories for the Pebbles Inc Blog. Stop on by and see what fellow design team member Christa did for today's post.

Tee-Tee
I think this Journaling the Holidays digital stamp set from The Cutting Cafe is adorable!! What's great is that you can even use them for layouts that aren't holiday related. That's what I did for my layout below about my little guy and his Tee-Tee (Aunt Shannon). The heart journaling stamp made a perfect accent for my page!

If there's one thing I don't deal well with, it's internet deprivation! For most of the day today, my internet connection was down and man was I itchin' to get online. I knew my card below was being posted on the Pebbles Blog and I wanted to get it up on my blog this morning. With CHA just over too, I knew there would be much excitement and many great inspiring layouts featuring all the wonderful new products coming on fellow scrapbooker's blogs.
Thankfully I am now reconnected to the wonderful world wide web! :)

Kelly Goree Scraplift
I can't remember the last time I scraplifted a layout but when I saw this layout by Kelly Goree in the latest issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine, I knew I had to recreate it with my own pictures. I made a few minor changes and added some items including a cloud stamp from myStampBOX and some digital stamps from The Cutting Cafe. Thanks for the inspiration Kelly!

Pebbles: Poor Monkey

Hee Hee! I love how this layout turned out. I wanted it to be a really fun page and I think it ended up that way. My assignment for today's Pebbles Blog post was "Free For All" which meant I could work with whatever Pebbles goodness I wanted. Check out the Pebbles Blog for some more great projects from the designt team!

First Bath
Happy Tuesday! It's pretty dreary in my neck of the woods but it's better then the crazy humidity we've had lately. I've been down and out with a neck injury the last few days. It was enough to send me to the hospital on the weekend. I waited 10 hours!!!! It's a bad strain and they've given me some pain killers and anti-inflammatory medication.
I was going through some of my layouts on my computer and realized I never shared this layout of my son's first bath. So here it is....

Mother's Day Layout
Watch out people....2 posts in one week!
I'm having so much fun playing around with The Cutting Cafe digital files and I'm excited to have figured out how to convert them to not only colour but I've just found out how to cut them on my Silhouette machine! Woohoo!
Here's a layout that's kind of out of the box for me colour wise. I used The Cutting Cafe's All About Mom set.

Pebbles Product Parade
I have never been so grateful for central air as I am this week. It is ridiculous hot this week. 38-40 celcius with humidity (or 100-105 F for my American friends). My poor hubby has to work outside in this. Yesterday I went out with Mason and poor little guy was soaked by the time we got home. You know it's hot when your baby is soaked with sweat!
On a scrappy note, today is Product Parade on the Pebbles Blog and the feature is their awesome stickers! I love their stickers they recently added to their collections and created this fun layout about Mason starting cereals.
