Exciting News

OMG! I've been having a hard time the last few days keeping it in but Allison Davis from Sketch Support has asked me to join her 2012 Creative Team! I love sketches and have had my eye on this inspiring sketch site for some time so I'm beyond thrilled to be designing for them in 2012. Summer Heat & Layouts

Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer so far. Here in SW Ontario it seems like we've been under a constant heat wave and humidex advisory. Is there any better way to beat the heat then enjoy some pool time with family?

I created both of these layouts for the Scrapping Turtle using Bo Bunny's Barefoot & Bliss collection. The first layout is based on a sketch from Scrapbooks Etc. and the second layout is featuring Imaginisce's tool the i-Rock.

Summer Fun

It's time for some Summer Fun! It's been a fantastic and beautiful Summer so far here in SW Ontario. I have to say it's my favourite Summer in years because I get to watch all the fun firsts for my little guy.

In this layout I created for the Scrapping Turtle using the fabulous Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss line, I scrapped some fun photos of Mason and his Uncle Joshua (my little brother) enjoying some backyard pool fun together.

Bo Bunny Ad Lib

I've got to say that I have really been enjoying designing for the Scrapping Turtle but June has been my favourite so far because I've been fortunate enough to be working with Bo Bunny's Ad Lib collection. It caught my eye right away when I saw it on shelves so when I received it in my kit, I was so excited.

I have two layouts to share with you today using the Ad Lib collection. The first one is based on a sketch from Scrapbooks Etc.

The second layout was a technique challenge to distress. As my papers were really bright, I first thought it was really going to be a challenge but there was this fun paper (I used for my background) that had a grungy look to it. Once I started with that as my base, the rest just kind of fell into place!

Scrapping Turtle June Reveal #1

Happy Monday!!! I'm so excited to be sharing my first Scrapping Turtle reveal for June with you because I am super lucky to be working with Bo Bunny's Ad Lib collection! I adore this line and have been having fun playing around with it!

For June our POTM (Product of the Month) is the Quickutz 12" border dies. I used two of them on this layout and have quickly become addicted to them!

Lazy Summer Days

I can't believe how quickly this past week has gone. With an office move at work coming up this weekend, the past week has been crazy for me. I have gotten some scrap time in, although not much as I've been super tired at night, but most of the stuff I've worked on, I can't share just yet.

I can share this layout I did a couple months ago but never got around to sharing. I originally submitted it to a call but it wasn't picked up so I can share it here!
