As many of you know, my husband and I have been trying to start a family since 2006. We've encountered many obstacles along the way. First a life threatening ectopic, then an early loss, then a pre-term labour resulting in the loss of our first son Peter, then another early loss.
With the help of McMaster Hospital, we were able to keep a very close eye on my most recent pregnancy and bring it to almost full term. After two weeks spent in the hospital with complications......
Mason Garrett Nymeyer was born on December 18th (7 weeks early) at 5 lbs, 11 oz and 18.5" long (good thing he didn't go full term....hello 10 lb baby!).
Our little monkey is still in the NICU getting stronger every day and we hope to bring him home soon. I may be a little delinquent on blog posting for a while but promise to update when I can!
